An author/ghostwriter, his own titles include The Life & Lines Of Brandon Block, Mr Pikes - Tony Pike - an Ibizan legendary hotelier biography; Terry Dunnage - Road To Recovery; Danniella Westbrook: Faith, Hope & Clarity and One More - A History Of UK Clubbing. In 2016 he wrote Amy Winehouse - A Life Through The Lens, released by Omnibus Press.
Matt founded MT Ink Pub (Matt Trollope Publishing) in 2009 to service the growing demand for print-on-demand paperback and Kindle eBook self-publishing and launched his publishing imprint MT Ink in 2014 with its debut release Half Man Half Misfit by Dave Kidd.
